Our all-knowing or omniscient God knows who He is, who we are and also what is and will be happening. Becuase He knows, we have a God who is confident in who He is, which means we have a good example to follow, He knows who we are so that we can be prepared and guided and He knows what is happening in the past and He still wants to know us, in the present becuase He wants to be a part of us and in the future to be with us and protect us

Key Scriptures: Isaiah 46:9-10 and Hebrews 4:13

HE Knows

We all spend time renewing things that need to be renewed like subcriptions etc. but do we invest in renewing ourselves in the Lord? Being renewed and restored in the Lord restores our joy but also brings great JOY to the Lord Himself.

Key Scriptures: Zephaniah 3:14-17

HE Renews

HIS Peace

Having you beaten your bushes lately? Beating your bushes means that you have searched exhaustively for something - can we say that we have searched after God in the situations, experiences in our lives this week?

Key Scripture: Philippians 4:4-9

HIS Power

God's power is unlimited in the hearts and minds of those who choose to follow Him but what do we need to do to activate it? Put on the armour of God - without it, it is like going into battle without any protection or equipment. Paul's tells us in Ephesians 6 that as followers of Christ we are in the fight of our lives against the forces of evil. When we rely on our own power victory is not possible but in God's power we fight from victory not for it

Key Scriptures: Ephesians 6:10-18

Forgiveness is one of the key elements of the Gospel and to which Christ Himself died for us for our own forgiveness. Forgiveness is costly and it means that we must forgive to the point of not remembering - just as Jesus did

Key Scripture: Luke 19:1-9

HIS Forgiveness

1 John 1:5-2:2 is filled with words of guidance for the church in Ephesus. John himself declares the message he knows and witnessed himself to others. That ‘God is light’ – 1:5

This means that God cannot be anything but righteous and good and we are called to ‘walk in the light’ – not to be the light but to walk in it – dependant on the saving grace of Christ and the openness of our lives for the Lord to reveal the darkness’s in us to grow deeper and closer in fellowship with Him and others
Key Scripture: 1John 1:5 - 2:2

He is Righteous

Psalm 46 shows us that God is a God whom we can run to in times of difficulty, He is our ROCK - our refuge, our strength and our ever-present help in times of trouble

So often we run from God when things are challenging or we are facing a trial. What if we said God is with me, God is my stength and God will help me - instead of doubting Him and questioning where He is when we are suffering

Key Scipture: Psalm 46:1-11

God is our ROCK

God our healer is so prominent in John 5. Jesus knows the condition of the man at the pool and becuase of this Jesus knows that there is more going on than just his paralysis. Instead He sees the deeper condition that needs healing or making whole. When God heals us - He not only heals us physically but also emotionally and spiritually too where the deeper things are rooted.

Key Scipture: John 5:1-15
